- Full-time and part-time students applying for a course at Tertiary
Institutions in any relevant fields compatible with the aims and objectives
of SAALED
- (Application available by post, on request)
- First preference will be given to SAALED members
- The award will be based on
- the motivation and commitment of the student to benefit the community
through his/her studies plus their financial need
- prior educational performance
- financial need
An amount of R6000 will be paid directly to the institution as follows:
- R3000 at the beginning of the academic year
- R3000 in the middle of the year on receipt of a written report from
the institution stating satisfactory progress
The closing date is the 31st October. Applications must be submitted
to the SAALED National Office.
