Annual General Meeting
Thank you to all who attended the AGM last month. You were well rewarded with your SACE points. Congratulations to the following members who were voted onto the board: Jennifer Cosslett, Michelle Decker, Fleur Durbach, Ruan Fourie, Shirley Gray, Shannon Jacobs, Tarryn McLaren, Joe Pillay and Chaland van Zyl.
Heartfelt gratitude was expressed to Zelda Wolfsohn who has accepted Honorary Life Membership of SAALED after serving for many years on the Board.

Tarryn McLaren’s webinar on Visible Thinking in a Differentiated Learning Space was phenomenal. Tarryn’s passion for cognitive education was extremely evident as she highlighted thinking skills, which support and extend the academic performance and holistic development of learners. Her practical ideas and suggestions were invaluable and will ensure that more learners can become increasingly effective and independent. Tarryn willingly shared her presentation and resources with the attendees. Reference Materials Authors and Useful Websites that are really good also formed part of the pack that attendees received.
